As the queue has now reached our coastline & a bridge is necessary to aid our Scandinavian freinds the Swedish government have agreed to set aside a tract of forestland with suitable wood materials. As payment in kind the Swedes have agreed to keep Antonio Lindback away from British Shores. ;D Help...there are 1 or 2 coach loads of supporters coming up from Ippo for this meeting, and I'm afraid that we may be unable to get any tickets, as our organiser says he is too busy to join the queue , what should we do From worried at FoxhallBadge, why on earth weren't you here for the "tractor pull" contest you'd have had no problem ;D ,I suggest Johnno be informed of your dilemma, an offer of a bit of the amber nectar may come in handy. ;)If all else fails you could always hire Andre Compton's helicopter & fly to front of the queue.

I don't quite know how to take that Booey ...a Tractor Pull , how big do you think I am As for asking Johnno, no can do as he is already in the queue and his battery has run out on his mobile , mind the helicopter might work, so thanks. ;D

Jason Crump is the first rider to be named for Johnno's testimonial. That's a shining example of just how well Johnno is regarded in speedway circles. Hope there's a few more top names announced too. Must admit this running saga of the Johnno Testimonial thread on the BSF is beginning to get on my tits a bit now please don't carry it over onto this forum, it was funny at first but the jokes wearing a bit thin now imo.

I agree , Booey behave yourself please.. Peter York interviewed Johnno just before the meeting last night Wacks and he said that he was expecting 6-7 GP riders making it, now that would be superb... hope it pulls a decent crowd, some people seem to be put off by the fact it's the weekend before Cardiff.

Ok, on to the serious stuff. ;)Stoked for Johnno that his mate Crumpie is doing this meeting for him.It definetly sounds like this will be a cracking meeting,i'm sure Johnno will add a fun aspect to it as well, that's the sort of guy he is.How long now is it,12 weeks i think, can't wait.

I've already given up the funny stuff on BSF ( to be honest i don't know if i can be arsed with the BSF for much longer ).
In all seriousness i really beleive that by the time the meeting comes round the line up for this could prove to be the meeting of the year.

Well, let's be honest, Johnston's appeared in testimonials for just about anyone who ever had a testimonial, so if they all repay the favour, you might not be far wrong.

I'm looking for clues as to who may be in the match races at Johnno's meeting. Does anyone know who was in the Sheffield or Long Eaton teams when Johnno 1st came to Britain.

Chris Morton and Jan Staechmann are the highest profile riders in that category. What's the odds on it being Phil Crump v Chris Morton?

I'm looking forward to it already Booey, I can see there being a few more names added to that list, that some will just be unable to resist...
