Rumour has it that it's not ahead of but as well as. Kev H, could you enlighten us on the Messing theory. I've seen Cookie's statement & i'm wondering if the very professional club he mentions is in fact Coventry. If this is so re declaring the possible team as 1 Harris 2 Janniro 3Schlein 4Allen 5Stead 6Messing 7Roynon

Rumour also has it that a certain Mr Janniro will be our Captain next year ;D

Vastly more experienced than any of the others& plenty upstairs to keep the lads chins up if things aren't going well.Though Oakesy does that well enough. The ` grumpy golem' just bawls & says "oy we're 10 points behind" even if we're not

Kev H, could you enlighten us on the Messing theory. Which Messing theory. Jon Cook has been quoted on the Lakeside site as saying that the only rider he couldn't place in the team that he wished to is Messing. He then goes on to say that situation is resolved as he has found a place for him at a very professional club. Some of us are wondering if that's Coventry as the average tallies.

Well, I suppose it's possible, and I do know that Young Stanley and Cookie hold the (former ) promotion at Brandon in very high regard. To be honest, Andreas' 3.00 GSA would not be a stumbling block at many tracks, so it comes to your definition of 'professional'. It would be my guess that Andreas will be riding in the PL at a track a few miles south of Coventry, but that's just a guess, and based on nothing apart from our signing of Jonas Davidsson.

I'm a bit puzzled by the Stead theory. Surely he's at too high an average - if you use the final green sheet numbers from the BSPA site anyway. That shows him on 6.90. So if we have the 'confirmed' four plus Steady, as below, that leaves just 5.62 for two riders - i.e. not enough left Harris - 7.98 Schlein - 7.74 Janniro - 5.17 Allen - 5.44 Stead - 6.90 From what I understand these are the right numbers - but then I may be wrong. Am I missing something here?

Aha! That was one small detail I had missed and explains all the 'enthusiasm' for the Stead theory ... and a fine theory it is

Looks like the bullshit is ever prevailing on the BSF from a certain individual called Ivanobe...Mr Roynon having gone to Birmingham ...wonder what other bullshit we'll get now?
