It has been reported locally that the management & promotion team are sifting through the retained & asset list at present Sube. If they use their own assets from 2007 the average of those 4 excluding Rory Schlein is 27.55 leaving 11.30, my guess is the reserves will be Roynon & Auty which leaves 5.09 i believe. So we have Nicholls,Harris,Smolinski,Janniro,Roynon, Auty +1. This is what i believe we should do at Brandon because we want to keep that team spirit that has seen us be so strong in the last few years. These guys all know about that.

I'd be happy with that Booey....lets see what happens, but with BJ looking for Sponsorship from local Businessess and supporters I'd say he'd be staying ;D

7.78 Harris 7.74 Schlein 6.73 Simon Stead 5.30 Oliver Allen 5.17 Billy Janniro 32.72
6.13 left for final two places.
Roynon 3.11, possibly doubling up with Auty and a 3.00 rider.

Adam's average is 3.13 less the deduction (3.05).Which leaves 3.16.Peter Oakes reported in his national press column that Adam should be confirmed by the end of the week.

Still putting Simon Stead in the team 960002? I thought he was going to Lakeside but it appears not as their team seems to have been sorted out so I suppose there is a chance he will come to Coventry.... if he doesn't stay at Belle Vue. I hope this happens as I have always liked Simon's style of riding. The management will definitely have to sort the track out though if he does and give Chris and Simon some shale to race on as neither are gaters.

Stead not a gater ? over the last few years stead done nothing but gate and go, it's a myth that he is a racer .

Could we fit Stead in though? I'd love him at Brandon, not only to help git rid of the disappointment of Scott going...( I'm still reeling now, nearly a week later )

Whats the matter Sub, have you ran out of BSF members to bait? Ah jacques, the mine of members to bait on the BSF is inexhaustible, you know that. This is just an honest opinion on Simon Stead - he's not as good as people seem to think.

The thing about Stead is, he's not very good. I believe he is over-rated, but in a league with the limit of 38.85, Simon Stead, on his average, is a rider nearly every side wants. I can't see him gaining an average of any more than about 7.5 or 8. However, he'd be a solid number 3, compared to some in the Elite League like Chris Louis, Joe Screen etc.
