I'm afraid not, youngster. Simon Stead is an unbelievably bad signing by the Bees - possibly the most over-rated rider of all time.

I've said this to Gemini on Bsf Genghis.Simon may only be with us for 2008 anyway, it's good tactics to bring in a rider who will up his average to possibly 8+ then bring back 1 of your championship side in 2009 on a lower average.

You already know my veiw on this so i shan't repeat. A good top 3 & now on to the best top 5 No matter what the numpties in the BSPA do they won't keep a good team down.

Stead's second rate, but even worse, his equipment is third rate. An awful signing by the Bees - they've completely lost the plot, especially since they'll have weak reserves, which means no cushy number at reserve for Janniro when the going gets tough for the over-weight American.

Not true, I've been a long time critic of Stead. I struggle to give time and effort to fools who believe him to be remotely close to Chris Holder - Holder's the best talent out there, bar none.

No, mostly Belle Vue numpties on the BSF that are saying Stead's better than Holder - Holder is superior to Stead now and as the years roll on that gap is going to become a yawning chasm.

I agree that Chris Holder is the best of the 5 pointers out there. The problem is Sube that the bloody hairdresser voting the way he did has forced him to shed the poor lads guiding light at Wimborne the former World Champ.Holder will be like a lost puppy at Poole now Crumpie won't be there & it's Ford's fault.

I have a feeling something backfired down in Dorset.

Will be an interesting 3 way fight to represent the Bees in the ELRC this season.
