Ok the final two meetings of the season ... after Fridays superb performance by Swindon, it really is game on again. I'm looking forward to this....Not that I'm into predicting the outcome of meetings, but for this one I wouldn't even try... What do you think?

What i think Jacques is that i hope Colin Meredith is back to prepare our track(never thought i'd say that) .What fatty Pratty dished up on Friday was pathetic & played right into the hands of the little red wotsits. All that said i'm looking forward to it & hope it's alot closer than the P/off final. Not too close though.

Well, if Colin lets us have the use of a room as he has done in the past we might be coming over Friday for this meeting as Leigh Adams has agreed to sign our limited edition print of him for us there. We have tried to hook up for this for two years so far without success. I could also try and sort out a deal with Chris about signing the new one of him. Are you going to be there Jacques? Both Denise and I should be. Once we have taken care of the business part we will wander around and take in the meeting. Any others going from here?

I certainly will Jim,prior to the meeting i'm usually in that little kiosk where we sell old progs, then wander around to the back straight for the match. I have one of your screenprints on my bedroom wall. The one of Nicholls,Loram & Richardson in GP action.I actually won it at auction in aid of Rory Schlein when he hadhis back injury.I've now had it framed.

Oh Ok. We will make sure we come and say hello. I am sure it will be OK though as I know Colin well but I need to ring him in the morning to see if its not a problem in any way and then firm up with Kylie Adams. I really want those signed examples of Leigh with Christmas just around the corner now. If we can do a deal with Chris Harris too we will have signed examples of JC, CH and LA available. Maybe Rico might be up for signing a few too.

I would also know a few others like Sandie, full throttle and Silver Bee, 21st Heathen, SCB and a few others if they recognise us of course. ;D

She's not easy to spot though Jim, the combined efforts of Mimi, Braveheart and myself couldn't spot anyone with Jacques painted on her forehead at a recent meeting. I promise you, if you look in the stand in-line with the tapes, there's dozen of 'maybes'.

I see the price for adults has gone up for the Coventry leg by £1, but this will include a fireworks display to conclude the evening.
Teams for Thursday:
Swindon: 1..L Adams 2..S Ulamek 3..R/R 4..T Chrzanowski 5..C Gjedde 6..A Moore 7..D Balinski
Coventry: 1..S Nicholls 2..R/R 3..C Harris 4..S Johnston 5..R Schlein 6..B Janniro 7..M Smolinski
Referee: R. Allan

Sandhu knows the fans will turn up & pay the extra quid as it's the cup final and last meeting of the season. Reading had a firework display on Monday night, and Wellie had reduced the admisison cost by £2 for all paying entrants.

This is usual practice at Brandon, always happened under the Ochilltree regime, normally charge the price for next season in the last match, plus subsidy for fireworks.
