That was last nights meeting they are talking about Grachan Ah, right. Thank you for explaining it in a sensible non-patronising manner.
Yes, sorry Grachan. This meeting seems to have spilled over onto a few threads now.
Anyway, Swindon's view:
SWINDON manager Alun Rossiter says being second best is not a feeling he wishes to repeat next season.
The Robins boss could barely believe the manner of his side's collapse late in their Knockout Cup Final at Coventry as they threw away a ten-point lead to lose by thirteen.
And Rossiter says the events of the final night of the season will have a bearing on his decisions for next season, when both of this year's top teams are sure to have to make changes.
Rossiter said: "Too many riders disappeared at the wrong time, when you wanted them, when you wanted someone to make a name for themselves.
"We got ourselves in the position but we fell apart and that has been the story of our season. That is why we have come second in all competitions and why Coventry are treble winners.
"The decisions for next season have been made a lot easier tonight by some of them. I have got a pretty good idea what changes will be made and I will say there will be quite a few."
And Coventry's:
COVENTRY confirmed themselves as the team of the Elite League in 2007 with an incredible Cup Final triumph over Swindon.
The Bees, who had already beaten the Robins to the Knockout Cup and the Craven Shield this year, found themselves ten-points down after Heat 5 at Brandon as Leigh Adams and Sebastian Ulamek engineered a blistering start for the visitors.
But Scott Nicholls responded by winning a tactcial ride and Janniro came up with an heroic display at reserve, winning four of his five rides - including a critical, and unexpected, 5-1 with Rory Schlein over Adams and Ulamek in Heat 11.
The Bees completed the Treble with a 53-40 win on the night for a 98-85 aggregate success after a draw in the first leg at Blundson.
Nicholls said: "We certainly did it the hard way and you've got to say full credit to Swindon. They started off with a lot of energy and had us on the back foot.
"But it shows the strength of our team which has got us to the Championship, and the Craven Shield. Sometimes when we look dead and buried we get together and pull things together, and we're always strong in the second half of the meeting.
"I'm over the moon to be captain of the team. In three years we've had a Championship, a Knockout Cup and now a treble, so that's pretty impressive. I was fortunate to be in a Treble-winning team with Ipswich in 1998, but it was different then, I was trying to make a name for myself then - to be captain of a great bunch of riders and people is an honour, and hopefully we can have a few more like it."
