Just had a look at the start list for the Czech meeting and I'm assuming it's in the evening, therefore Andreas should be at both Lakeside and Coventry. Well, put it this way - if he's not it would also affect Lubos (who I think is actually missing for one of these meetings anyway) Chris Harris, Smolinski, Johnno and Shields too, so I think it's safe to say we'd have heard about it. ;D Well although the meeting is mainly on sunday, they do have some quali heats on saturday after the junior meeting.Top riders wouldn't be in them though.

The Speedway Star says that Lakeside tried to sign a rider as a short-term replacement for Joonas Kylmakorpi for the cup semi finals, but the BSPA and the rider's parent club blocked it.

I'm heading to Brandon for this one as well, it will be my first visit to Covetnry. Coventry fans, What time do your meetings generally finish?? For Hammers fans it would usually be after about heat 2, , Swindon managed until about heat 6. As for KK no loss there, take a leaf out of the Bees book, and bin the Poles, soon as they get the chance their offski. Team spirit the bees no.8.

Andreas Jonsson kept Lakeside in with a remote chance with another awesome display on his old stomping ground 18pts max. As Belle Vue found out with Crump tho one man don't make a team.

I was actually looking at Ricky's scores and thinking "oh dear" but then looked at who he was up against and it's not so bad. Hoping that in the return leg tomorrow Chris and the gang will show you how to ride at Purfleet.

But when did AJ last score a max at Lakeside, bees should have enough in hand.

But when did AJ last score a max at Lakeside, bees should have enough in hand. 14th September, so not so long ago. He's only had one meeting at home since and scored 11 points then. Are you worried yet? ;D

How many times did he defeat Niki Pedersen in said meeting, He didn't, Pedersen wasn't there, although what that's got to do with the price of fish in a conversation about Lakeside V Coventry I can only guess at. Although he did beat the guest Eastbourne tracked for Pedersen three times..................................Chris Harris

Are you worried yet? ;D He's also still the track record holder at 57.2 ;D I don't think last night's performance was too shabby. AJ was phenomenal. I predicted a full max before the meeting started and he didn't disappoint and he had bike problems all night, unbelievably. Adam was a bit off song but i'm sure he'll put in his usual solid performace tonight. The reserves tried hard all night, and they might just be the difference for us tonight. Harris doesn't go particularly well at our place, and with Loobie as a guest, I am quietly optimistic.

nothing to write home about that one....the only thing really worth a mention was AJ, absolutely brilliant, he chewed em up and spat em out...Awsome what a guy, his heat 15 start was incredible. I really hope he makes the podium in Germany
