Well, as the Old Mongol has yet to choose the winner, could I again hint that whoever decided that 6 out of 9 teams should contest the EL play-offs would make a worthy winner. Maybe a better system to decide the play-offs and eventual champion would be to run it like a game show, after a month of matches the lowest placed team gets eliminated and the points all revert back to zero, the system continues month by month until the victors are crowned.

I think someone had had too much Swedish beer when they came up with the new, insane play-off system. Didn't even know the Swedes brewed beer. Yes, they do and a very nice beer it is too. As you can see it was reviewed by our very own Kev H Falcon of Sweden Falcon ABV 5% • Vol 330 ml • bottle • Sweden • Mid-price • Flavour 9 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweden's own lager beer. Not as strong as Spendrups, but similiar to Lapin Kulta. A delicious lager/pilsner. Even comes in a dark variety. Review submitted by: Kevin

Hatcham - and now you've been on the Swedish beer.

Not a great deal of choice, is there? I'm not especially exercised by the decision of the global superstar to foresake British speedway and think it a huge error of judgement on his part. And I've no strong feelings on how many teams take part in the end of season play-offs. Okay, I'm going to give it to Paul Bellamy and BSI Speedway for making a mockery of the world championship with their earlier nominations for the GPs.
