I nominate the BSPA for their latest piece of "have a facility" nonsense. It seems that Eastbourne will have a guest facility for the global superstar when they host Wolverhampton this Sunday. And where will the global superstar be, you ask? That's right, he'll be lining up for Rzeszow in Poland. Why not insist he rides at Eastbourne?

Oh behalf of all those who were in Germany at the weekend and were thus unable to post on this then, I would like to nominate Ole Olsen/IMG/BSI. Flapperjack really IS too good for them.

What the fuck was that all about? Shocking stuff. The guy should never be allowed on a speedway track again. That is wholly unacceptable.

I agree totally Sub - that was my exact comment when I saw the clip. Doesn't bear thinking about what would have happening if the bike had run into the other riders leg - he would probably have ended up with a smashed leg.

Jesus!! I'd read about the incident on BSF but thought it had maybe been exaggerated - I was wrong.

What a complete tosser young master Powell is. Stupidity in the first degree. Not only does he run the risk of seriously injuring another rider (forgivable if accidental, but unforgivable if with intent IMHO), but he's probably wrecked his own bike - not to mention the other rider's. This is an extremely childish reaction when you're five - and he's obviously older than that. Lord and Lady Robin's vote goes to Ben Powell. Edit: I've just read the thread on the BSF about this. Some bleeding hearts are on there bleating that he's been punishe dby having a £300 fine and released by Scunny. Not enough. Other riders have done less and been fined/punished more. The BSPA has to stand up to this sort of thuggish behaviour once and for all. Forget a paltry fine. He needs a ban. If he's as good as he obviously thinks he is, then it'll scare the crap out of him and he may even change his ways. If not, then he wasn't an assett to speedway and we won't miss him. Second Edit to change the fact that I'd nominated the innocent (in this case) Ben Barker. Mea Culpa.
