Crikey, only one more day to go and the line-up looks to have stayed the same. Is anyone heading off to Birmingham for it?

After reading the Lakeside website, it seems a bit better for AJ.

jeffster,by all accounts !! So it seems. But I fear I won't be joining him. I hold this meeting in the same esteem that more and more of the riders seem to. It's time is over. It had a raison d'etre back in the day, when the British leagues were all that really mattered. Time to put it out of its misery, if you ask me.

It had a raison d'etre back in the day, when the British leagues were all that really mattered. Time to put it out of its misery, if you ask me. the meeting is clearly becoming a bigger joke year on year, but if we stopped complicating our season with so many league and cup fixtures,we might fit in more individual events, and this meeting could again regain its status. how many times can sides like poole and coventry face each other in season without it becoming an absolute borefest. they almost face each other as many times as New Cross and wimbledon did in the 30's.

And the ELRC has been postponed and will be re-staged at a later date...probably at Swindon.
