What about Chris Mills? Have they given up on him?

I must admit I was only half listening to what I was told. But I think Chris himself feels he can't do the position justice? I'm sure someone will clarify later.

Lakeside have signed Kauko Nieminen as their new number 8. Announced tonight. So let's dump the young British No. 8 and bring in a bloody foreigner. I await Kev H's defence of this appalling decision with interest.

I was hoping Kauko would return to the stripes to replace the Messiah when he eventually hangs up his halo . Will this throw that into doubt i wonder .

I don't think that's likely, do you, Lukas is too good a rider to sign for Lakeside.

Good move by Lakeside. Nieminen is much better than Mills.

To be fair, Millsy isn't exactly seeting the PL alight this season so I can see Lakeside's reasoning behind the change.

I see Millsy generally every week Genghis, there are flashes of what could be but consistency isn't his middle name this season.

I understand it's a matter of averages. This is the explanation I had earlier (thank you for the PM.)
New averages for August mean that No.8 for Lakeside can be up to 8.92 (double lowest average in side - Ricky Kling 4.46) and Niemenen's is 8.84 as opposed to Millsy's 5.47. As fixtures stand, there are three firm dates where both Lakeside and Reading are both in action on same night. If Mills was still declared No.8, and say for example either Hammers reserves Kling or Tomicek were unavailable on one of those nights, any PL guest booked could only be up to Mills' average. If similar circumstances arise surrounding Niemenen, they can go up to 8.84.

The quote I read from Mr Cook says that Nemo replaces Millsy as Millsy had bookings that possibly clashed Clashed with what exactly? The injury that will occur to which reserve in the near future oh clairvoyant one??
