Official Belle Vue Press Release.
Belle Vue are hoping to unveil an exciting new signing in front of their supporters before next Monday's Craven Shield qualifying round against Eastbourne and Swindon at Kirkmanshulme Lane (7 30).
Promoters David Gordon and Chris Morton have been negotiating with the rider, who is foreign, for several weeks. But they are keeping his name secret until the deal is signed and sealed.
However, they want to let the mystery rider have an early chance of seeing the Belle Vue set-up and also benefit from seeing how top riders tackle what can be a tricky circuit for a new signing.
Gordon said: "We have been negotiating with him for a while and now in the position where, potentially, we have a new rider coming into the club.
"We have arranged to fly him in for next Monday's meeting with a view to completing the deal, signing the forms and introducing him to our supporters."

Well after all the build up it better be good. Although if Rob B had to look him up I'm guessing it'll be something of an anticlimax.

Apparantly he's a young exciting rider. Where is the fookin heatleader that we need and have done since Crump went. It's all well and good building an asset base but without a number 1 you're stuffed...............as proved at Belle Vue this season.

New signing has been delayed. The management didn't want to announce who it was until the contract has been signed.....and the mystery still goes on.
