As Kenneth Bjerre rules himself out of all forthcoming fixtures, except, of course, the Danish Grand Prix that the uber-golem shoe-horned him into, the Panthers are pondering signing a replacement: www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/Panthers-could-sign-a-replacement.4141491.jpI think they'd be doing themselves a favour if they made the change permanent and left the selfish, self-centred Bjerre to seek the personal glory he so clearly craves, but doesn't have the ability to gain.

Well that is just plain pathetic . If the pain was so intense, surely it's telling him something, and he shouldn't be riding AT ALL.

Looks to me like Krzysztof Kasprzak is Peterborough bound after all.

It is certainly coming across as that isn't it? Who on earth would they sign though? I don't understand while they feel the need to announce possible signings, surely it would be better to wait until the ink is dry first...

I'm sure that you remember Peter Collins in the 1977 World Final He was injured whilst riding at his home track, badly breaking his leg. He attempted to defend his title, in extreme pain and unable to walk without crutches, he narrowly missed out, finishing second to Ivan Mauger. Riders decision making rarely conforms to the normal.

So you are happy with riders pissing all over British speedway . In case you hadn't noticed Copenhagen is NOT a one off World Final.

You obviously don't know me that well. I don't get the other bit. I don't know you at all If I misunderstood your post I apologise. I read it as if you were defending Bjerre for riding in the GPs but not for Peterboro. IMHO that is indefensible. I'm sick of riders, foreign or British, taking the piss out of clubs with their pogo stick medical certificates. The one off comment meant a one off world final is a helluva lot more important than a round of a GP series.

Panthers first and everything else second as far as I'm concerned and if he does make Parken then I'll be a touch pissed. I appreciate riders have their own agenda, Dryml and Iversen proved that at Swindon last season after securing GP qualification, but if they let my team down I'll raise it. However, the fact that so many Panthers fans want Dryml, who I never want to see again, back shows just how difficult it is to be a Panthers fan with such an opinion.

You stand your ground Rigsby..............the one's who want Dryml back clearly don't follow your team around the country, they are just home fans...............Dryml, as the GP's have proven, is just a waste of space.

I don't do too much travelling myself but know a one trick pony when I see one (who'll let you down just when you don't need it). I'm actually surprised that a Lakeside fan knows who Dryml is, he doesn't know where it is ;D

Is he the one who trolls around at the back in the GP's, ( or the only one not beating Scott Nicholls : ;D ;D That's the one Badger, I can understand why you've not recognised him, as he never turns up at your track either does he? He does have one redeeming feature though............he could well entice a few kids to have a go at the sport we all love, under the guise of "I can do better than that, I know!!!!" And let's be honest, if they arrive at the track, they have done better than him in many cases. And I understand that Damian has emailed Freddie Lindgren with an offer to buy the bike he was riding on TV the other night, you know, the one Leigh Adams was convinced had something wrong with it as it kept turning right................that would suit Dryml's style to a tee.
