Anyway Genghis, you should be used to it by now you followed Oxford [for] years... Don't get him started on Hans bloody Nielsen, woman. I thought you liked Hans Nielsen.

Yes you're right Genghis. Braveheart I apologise for you having to watch such shite last night. ;D Anyway Genghis, you should be used to it by now you followed Oxford years... Oh... that's a bit below the belt. Yes, Jacques, Oxford did have a shite team most of the time, but as compensation, we had a super little racetrack, so it wasn't very often we saw duff meetings. The opposite to Coventry, really, as you've normally got a good team but the Brandon raceway rarely produces exciting racing. It was indeed below the belt mate, but blame Paulco it was his idea to post that bit....

If Jacques is apologizing I want an apology from Kev H (or Mrs Kev Douglas) as I don't seem to see much action there either Braveheart - the British Under-21 Final was an OK meeting. I suppose it again proves that lower level racing is so much more exciting than Elite League. In our season of two halves at Oxford in 2007, the Conference League racing in the second half far exceeded that seen in the Elite League first half, in terms of excitement. BTW I can't see Kev D admitting the racing at Lakeside is rubbish

Certainly Coventry can provide dull racing, as indeed has Swindon in recent years...............Blunsdon was once a superb race track, but sadly in the last few years the racing hasn't been a patch on what it once was. Colin Meredith's name often crops when people are discussing poorly prepared race tracks, but maybe that's just a coincidence?

To be fair to Lakeside, it does provide good racing but nornally whilst I am working. It must be just me who misses it all. I remember going to Swindon whilst they were in the Premier League and it was alot better than it is now but then there were no GP riders in the teams.

Anyway, on an unrelated subject, I saw Sky's advert for the British Grand Prix last night. I wish I hadn't. What is it with Sky and trying to make speedway into some ridiculous circus sideshow like boxing? Chris "Last year I had a dream" Harris was maybe supposed to look like a mean and magnificent gladiator, but to me he looked like a constipated cretin. Is it me or have they re-recorded the commentary in the advert with Green rather than Pearson? I don't like the bloke much anyway but to think he sat after the event getting excited for the tape is a new low
