Question...didn't Magnus Zetterstrom get a ban last year for something similar...? The Premier League has different rules regarding riders missing fixtures to the Elite League. Basically, Premier League riders have to give priority to fixtures in the United Kingdom, unless there is an accord between the BSPA and the nation hosting a clashing fixture. The only exception is for FIM events. Zetterstrom twice elected to ride in Poland (the BSPA and Poland's PZM have no accord) rather than in the United Kingdom and received a one meeting ban and subsequently a one month ban as a result. The Premier League has now gone further and any rider missing an official Premier League fixture to ride in a country where the BSPA has no accord is subject to a one year ban from the United Kingdom.

So Zabik was going to declare himslef injured if he was riding Elite league but he's ok to ride in the Polish Final tonight..unbelievable!! It's being well and truly played down by the Poole faithful, apparently they have no problem with it...what a load of bollocks.. I think we need to be clear, in the first instance, on what this meeting is in Poland. It isn't the "Polish Final" - that will be hosted later in the season. It is, in fact, Poland's meeting to decide which Poles will enter the GP qualification process. But for the indication to be that Zabik would be fit to ride yesterday and in today's meetings in Poland, but unfit to ride in British fixtures on the same day is clearly a nonsense.

1 year, wow, thats serious shit!! Yes, the rule book states: 18.1.2..To complete Team Line-Ups in the event of a Missing Rider(s), a Team may utilise a "Facility" to cover the absence of a rider(s) who: I..being a PL rider whose own Federation does not have a current Agreement with the BSPA and is competing in another National League or Open Meeting. This will result in the competitor's SCB registration being suspended for 1 (one) season and the Team will be automatically granted a Facility for a maximum period of 28 days, after which it must re-declare.
