Looks like trouble for Kaparna who have had their Elite license for next year rejected by SVEMO. More news when I get it in English, unless Erik can elaborate.

Big result from Avesta. I wonder what Eric thinks. I think we can't ride the track in Avesta. It was almost as awful as last year, except for a few heats at the end. Even Nicki looked lost, how often do you see him drop points like that? Anyway, even though we lost we are now second in the table and won't let go of that.

Kaparna are always in trouble, aren't they? I don't know a great deal about this. Yes, Kaparna has had their Elite license rejected by Svemo on the grounds that their auditors report has not been produced and signed by a licensed and independent auditor, which is one of the conditions of the Elite license. However, that is surely not the end of that. Appeals will be lodged and the saga will continue. Tommy Rander has more 'never-say-die spirit' than most and is both knowledgeable and clever.

Also, a very unlucky Robert Kosiecha managed to break the very same right arm that he broke in the first match of the season in Motala. To make matters worse, he was taken off by team mate Kenneth Bjerre who sent him flying into the fence. After last weeks sulking and negative comments regarding being dropped, Bjerre did his popularity among the Piraterna faithful no favours with this move. Especially as "Kostek" is a real crowd favourite...

Well, it seems there could be more "fall out" for Bjerre after his clash with team mate Kosciecha, which can be seen at the following: svt.se/svt/play/video.jsp?a=884873Kosciecha is a firm favourite with the Piraterna faithful and it seems that many don't want to see Bjerre racing for the club after the Kosciecha incident. The manager of Piraterna is reported to have asked Bjerre to contact Kosciecha, nursing a broken arm, but it seems Bjerre has refused on the grounds that he doesn't believe he was at fault. As a result, Bjerre is going to be dropped from the team for the next round. Reports of disputes between Bjerre and team mates will echo round Belle Vue, where it was said that few had many good words to say about the Dane. And didn't he have a "bust up" with Wroclaw last year after he travelled all the way to Poland for a single ride?

Yes, judging by comments on the Piraterna forum a good percent of fans don't want him in the team any more. The news of Bjerre refusing to call and check on Kostek which was reported in a local news paper sitting especially unwell with fans.

It's very hard to call from that footage. Is it that he didn't want to call, or that he didn't want to take the blame? Newspaper reports are usually best taken with a pinch of salt, and it does seem out of character from what I've heard, but then I wasn't there.
