A minor point about the 2nd division champions list Schumi . I feel the 1993 and 1994 champions should be written more decoratively and be more prominent than the rest just to seperate true greatness from the run of the mill league winners .

Have you swallowed a speedway history book Schumi . ;D But it's good to look back on the history of these competitions . Especially in the Div 2 cup competition finals . 1994 was probably the sweetest moment ever in the history of speedway anywhere in the world .

Paulco, I think someone connected with Schumi rivals me in the "statto" stakes... that's where these stats are coming from. If the stats were coming from Schumi, all we'd get is a load of boring stuff concerning a certain German ex-F1 driver ;D ;D

And thanks to Rob for helping me out with the pre-war league winners. Now updated. Any other information people would like to see?

Is anybody able to tell me ( actually Cousteau wants to know) if Colin Pratt rode in the 1968 WTC?

Is anybody able to tell me ( actually Cousteau wants to know) if Colin Pratt rode in the 1968 WTC? Apparently the team were: Barry Briggs, Ivan Mauger, Nigel Boocock, Martin Ashby, Norman Hunter. How does that work then? I thought Ivan was from New Zealand? Did you only have to ride in the country you represented in those days?

Yup Mauger and Briggs represented GB in thoise days because they were from the commonwealth , which is why they won the British Finals back then too .
