Kev - that's what it ended up as, yes. My gate stats (as I suspect you well know ) are a list of points scored and wins gained from each gate for each meeting. The overtaking stats are slightly more subjective, but sometimes give an indication to the entertainment value of a meeting. The most passes I've counted in a meeting is this year's World Cup, which had 75 passes after the second bend, which is a staggering figure.

I really should have made this a "non posting" section shouldn't I?

I really should have made this a "non posting" section shouldn't I? Certainly not . Genghis will have hours of pleasure in here . We will have - how many tons of shale on the Cowley track . Riders interesting breakfast habits on race days . How many babies conceived since 1965 after a last heat decider at Cowley . And if the Cheetahs go PL next year we will find out to the second how long Josh Auty spends accompanying young ladies to the toilet .

I'm hardly ever in Over the next couple of weeks, there's trips to Plymouth, Buxton, Rye House (CLRC), Stoke, Clevlenad, Plymouth (again) and Scunthorpe. Is that not getting out ;D ;D As for recording the incident during a speedway meeting (passes, details about crashes, etc), it's become second-nature whilst watching a speedway meeting. At Oxford, I can quite merrily fill in my programme in full detail AND run the track shop at the same time. A few years ago at Eastbourne, I got completely wasted to celebrate my birthday, couldn't remember Heat 8 onwards, but was still able to write a match report afterwards from my programme ;D ;D I can still enjoy watching a speedway meeting, while being a statto at the same time

How come they swapped from being team GB to England in the 70's....and now Team GB again. Interestingly they've got diddly since then which says errr, well, that we're shit really ;D

Do you still do them in full technicolour?
