Oh dear, I think I've so comprehensively out-punched drop a cog on the Belle Vue thread that brain damage has set in - he's now posting incoherent mumbo jumbo in a desperate bid to salvage something from a comprehensively lost argument. It's rather pitiful to see.

Well, I've received an e-mail from Nigel Pearson and it seems that someone has gone to the trouble of forwarding him screen captures from this thread and the poor dear is upset.

Well, I've received an e-mail from Nigel Pearson and it seems that someone has gone to the trouble of forwarding him screen captures from this thread and the poor dear is upset. Forwarding screen shots is a little extreme isn't it? For what it's worth I'm a fan of Nigel's (this may or may not be due to seeing him in his early days at Cradley, the fact he is a big West Brom Fan and enjoys a nice day at Worcestershire Cricket like me ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cheesy.png) . I can see why his commentating style wouldn't suit everyone, certainly if you compare it to old recordings of (I presume) Dave Lanning who rarely got as excited as Nigel. I much prefer Nigel to Tony Millard, at least we haven't got Hans Nielsen hitting the first bend in the lead, battles being joined and work to do every race. But I suppose we're lucky to have anyone at all, compared to the bleak mid-90's in terms of coverage maybe we should be thankful for Tony Millard?

As this is a ranting section I think I'll take the opportunity after reading Sub's post above, although not make a nomination as such.
If I have a problem with someone I'll do two things - ignore them, or tell them. I don't take advantage of their better nature and then sneak around being a devious fuckwit and indugling in petty points scoring. And if I ever did stoop so low I'd have the decency to admit it.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Some of you might think I'm just here to look pretty, and I'm sure a few of you think I'm a bit stupid, but I'll tell you - I know an awful lot more than you think. I know all about those of you who feel it necesssary to report back to various people, who you've said things to, and in some cases I know, or suspect who you are, but I don't say anything because it was so childish it was almost amusing.
Now it's not funny any more. Why don't I have a sense of humour this time around? Okay, I'll tell you what I've done today:
1..Updated Star Lady's rough guide for the 2008 season, which involved checking various websites, contacting a couple of people, then typing it all up and checking it back. 2..Added various dates to the calendar from emails and websites. 3..Replied to messages, updated links, sent thanks where necessary, and re-arranged a couple of sections to make it easier for people to find things. 4..Spent almost two hours working out and compiling the fixtures for the Swedish calendar - it's not just copy and paste, you know. 5..Chased up on an interview I'd been promised.
Now I'm just off to do some research and write an interview for someone else who has agreed to take part. That'll probably take me the best part of an hour. And that's an average day. I had planned on writing a list of Swedish Champions for the stats section, and looking around the club websites to see if there was any news, but, quite frankly I can't be arsed any more.
I'm sick of working my arse off to keep this place up to date and interesting (and a huge thank you to the others who do the same) to have one or two spoil it for the vast majority of decent people here, and to be thought of as a troublemaker just because I'm on here regularly, even though I rarely contribute to this thread.
I'm also fed up with people taking advantage of Sub's good nature. How many other fora can guests post on and take advantage of the information provided?
This section is member's only, meaning there can only possibly be 265 people who can read it. Out of that number, probably only a quarter are here regularly - I fail to see how a few posts which only possibly 50 or so people have viewed can have a negative impact on Mr Pearson, or why an opinion that can hardly be seen worries him so much.
Sub, thanks for letting me know what's going on. Much appreciated. xx

I'm not sure who or what has upset you Schumi but I can sympathise with you about the amount of work you do ont he forum. I've always been as involved in the Wolfcry forum as my other half but more 'behind the scenes' so to speak.
Don't let the bastards grind you down Schumi hun!

Tut tut Sub...Oh well at least your notoriety expands eh? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I know I've said this before but there is an awful lot of hard work that goes in to make this forum as informative as it is...I've not seen anything else that comes close to it.... As Lupus says Schumi don't let them get to you, as hard as it is sometimes. This is the best forum by far, most of us appreciate what all the people behind the scenes do for us.. But arseholes pop up everywhere though don't they?Doesn;t matter what froum you're a member of...

This is the best forum by far, most of us appreciate what all the people behind the scenes do for us It's the best Speedway medium full stop. The interviews have been an incredible step forward with stuff outdoing the SS. It's informative and a place to challenge and discuss without being personally offended.

He really is a sensitive soul. I remember him getting hot under the collar about the forwarding of a press release that had his telephone number on it. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

I find it incredible that people who put themselves in the public domain get all touchy when they don't like what people say about them.....it's all rather pathetic really.... ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

I agree whole- heartedly with what Jacques says Schumi, don't let a few, whoever they are let all your hard work go down the pan.If you're talking of the guests who've posted then we know who they are, & i'm not the least bit surprised by the attitude. You probably know my mood is good today anyway, but you should never let the odd ignoramus push you to the limit. Keep up the good work.
