Subedei Why should he.....Its his Website....Surely he can put on or take off whatever he likes...as can you But that website is apparently an "on-line CV", so by removing adverse comment he's producing a deliberately misleading CV. Furthermore, of course, I wouldn't remove adverse comments about me from this website. Sub - so it says on your CV, "actually I'm a bit crap", does it? I think, in this case, you need to cut Nigel Pearson some slack.

Sub - so it says on your CV, "actually I'm a bit crap", does it? No, but then again, I'm not, unlike Pearson who is a truly awful commentator. He should make it clear that only sycophantic claptrap is allowed to grace the pages of his "guestbook". I mean, have you read it? It's excruciating.

It'll not be removed. That's called upholding freedom of speech, whereas Nigel Pearson, or one of his sycophantic minnions, of which, sadly, there seem to be quite a few, remove it.

Has it happened in the past that someone's come on here and slagged him off? Yes. Has he removed it? No, never. Would he let me take it off, despite most of it being nasty, vindictive, and blatantly untrue? Nope. I might not like it, but it's stayed because he's true to his word.

So if you had a website which you were using as an online CV in the hope of getting more work and someone called you a fucking useless c unt on it, would you leave it on or take it off? Regardless of what you think of Pearson and you are free to portray those views anywhere you like, you can hardly blame the guy for taking your comments off his guestbook. You are a bigger twat than I thought if you think otherwise.

Well, if the intention was to remove adverse comment, I'd make it clear in the preamble that adverse comment would be removed. Pearson is attempting, as usual, to mislead the public.

Booey
I am not picking on Subedei over anything...I just believe in this situation he is wrong
If someone went on Lindbacks site and made a comment about his colour...should it be taken off...
If someone went on my site and made a comment about my weight should it be taken off
If someone went on Will Youngs site and said something bad about his sexuality should it be taken off
If someone went on a Muslim site and said something about there religion should it be taken off

In the most part they'd been seen for what they were, ignorant comments made by ignorant people. Mine, of course, were constructive criticisms of Pearson's style of commentating, which I find very annoying, particularly when he tries to insult my intelligence.

If someone went on your site and said, in their opinion, the stuff you sell is shite then should that be taken off? What about if they've bought something and it fell to bits? Isn't this how the 'feedback' bit on e-bay is meant to work? Surely, as Sub said, using the site as a CV should mean any prospective employers of someone as a commentator should listen to the views of the people who listen to him - whether they're positive opinions or not!
