does being at wolves qualify for a flapperjack nomination? No, but being SCB definitely does. He's gone way up in my estimation lately, and I think he's okay. In fact, I quite like him.

Fuck, there is an obvious BSF poster who is just begging to be nominated. I refer of course to the erudite Orion, being a Swindon fan really should be enough on its own, but this guy has many other virtues that make him a strong candidate for this "honour". I therefore nominate him for Flapperjack of the week, week number 10.

I,m no fan of Lindback's but in his defence ,he has shown he can mix it with the best in the past, he has just got a bit lost and taken bad advice imo. But beneath all his foibles there is skill & talent that could return. fog

I reckon the Flapperjack of the week is going to be Sam Ermelenko for his story telling last night. I normally like Sam but he was terrible last night.

As long as they get rid of Nigel Pearson, I couldn't care.

As long as they get rid of Nigel Pearson, I couldn't care. You're not a fan then? His habit of trying to convince everyone they are watching a classic meeting, instead of the slightly humdrum affair last night (the previous Peterboro v Poole match was much better) is annoying. He always annoys me during the World Cup. He's just as bad as some of the football commentators when England are playing. It's fine to have a bit of a bias towards your national side, but to be so "one-eyed" about it really gets on my nerves.

His "one eye" doesn't concern me; his one brain cell does. I'd have to agree on the brain cell count. He once had a go at me for forwarding one of his press releases to a mailing list (which he hadn't himself sent to me either). Apparently he was annoyed because his home phone number or something was at the bottom. Now aside from the fact I hadn't even noticed it was there, one would have thought it wasn't a clever idea to put sensitive information on a press release.

exactly, plus lindbacks problems appear to be more in his head, than anywhere else I suspect Lindback's biggest problem is that he's being very poorly advised. Or maybe he's missing his lover boy! ;D
