Yeah, he'll be watching (and no doubt recording every incident ) at the Oxford bbq - he'll be back later no doubt!! Indeed I was Can't believe they stuffed up the Bydgoszcz track like that, although Gollob may have saved Olsen his second FOW award by somehow producing great racing in all his rides and then a performance of sheer brilliance in the final. Pearson annoyed me intensely tonight, when he was trying to say what a great meeting it was, at a stage when it was still rather mediocre. Does he think the audience are stupid? I'll be back in an hour when I've made up my mind ;D

OK, discounted are Ole Olsen on the basis that the GP didn't turnout so bad after all tonight, thanks to Tomasz Gollob. No doubt Olsen's time will come again (he's already a former FOTW winner). And also Sam Ermolenko, becuase although he is a bore, there are better contenders this week.
And while Bob Charles did piss me off by not fulfiling a commitment, I've already forced through one Oxford connected winner (Paul Carrington). He's small fry to some of the bigger fish involved this week.
That leaves Russell, Swales and Pearson. Hmmmm, I have to admit with 10 minutes to go, I'm still undecided.

OK, in reverse order: 3. Trevor Swales. Yes, no doubt he is a flapperjack, but apart from a balls up regarding Heat 15 at Reading (which is more amusing than anything else), he's really not done enough in this particular week. I would have loved to have said : "Swales, like it or lump it, you are the Flapperjack Of The Week", but that will have to wait for another time. 2. Terry Russell - the release on the BSPA website. Blatant mistruths, who was he trying to kid? Does he think we're all stupid. Would be enough to win most weeks, BUT this week it has to be: 1. Nigel Pearson. He gets more annoying by the week. Tonight he tried to convince us that we were witnessing a classic, when in fact it was a mediocre meeting, apart from the final. After three races, Pearson informed the audience that there had been passing in every race, when Heat 2 had been from the gate. He then continued to foam at the mouth during some quite bland, boring races. So Nigel Pearson, you are the flapperjack of the week, now fuck off, and for fuck's sake, stop SHOUTING
