I was in the cruel, crazy town myself - stocking up on provisions in the local Morrison's. And in spite of myself, I popped into Shielfield Park, still in two minds as to whether to attend the meeting. I really wanted to have a glance at Knapp and maybe one last chance to see the weirdity in action. But, it never looked likely to be on.

More like to be Bergstrom, Compton, Meldrum and Robertson. British Summertime what a joke! No wonder people leave this country.

The jungle drums suggest that only Makovsky and Meldrum will remain.

You been listening to that plank up4it Hello wjm, pleasure to see you here. I hope you'll raise the level of debate regarding your beloved Bandits. No, not listening, but I did read his comments and reported them above. I suspect that no one, probably not even Peter Waite knows what's really going to happen. Waite plays things by ear and more often than not, he finally gets himself a decent side together.

Lol Heppel posted this on BSF today. There's a lot of thought to go into what to do with the future of the Bonanza 40th season bash... but once decided it will be released of course

Peter Waite's a bouncy kind of guy. He'll have been a little down after Saturday, but I don't think there's anything can keep him down for long. One of life's great optimists. I suspect that he'll make another go at having a celebration.

And, as I predicted, Peter Waite has bounced back and will be re-staging Berwick's washed out 40th anniversary bash on 18th Ausgust, 2007.
