I notice he had Schumi's favourite dodgy Pole well in arrears a couple of times . Seems quite a good gater , but he might take a while to get to grips with the Armadale track . I can see a few Sneddonesque 3rd and 4th bend mishaps at the beginning . But good luck to the lad .

And our friends in the East have announced the capture of young Swede Tomas H Jonasson . For young Kev H's benefit he was born in Vetlanda Sweden on the 27th of November 1988 . And the young laddie takes to the track at the Stadium of Mince on a 7.00 average . So that's three down , four to go for Scotland's other team . ;D Thanks for that info Paulco. It actually looks like the Monarchs have got themselves a bit of a coup here - Young Stanley made every effort to get the lad over here last year so that we could take a look. Sadly it never happened, so good on yer Edinburgh!!

I'm actually quite excited about this one. Having watched the Swedish league for the last year I've seen the results he's had as a junior. Okay, so it's different over here, but riding with the likes of Crump, Richardson and Holta every week has to have been good for him. Definitely a good signing for the Premier League, and one I'll be keeping an eye on.

Certainly there is the possibility that Scotland's other team could be on the strong side ( on paper ) , but that remains to be seen . One or two unknown quantities on both sides - so things should be very interesting come March .

So, the big rumour is Magnus Zetterstrom, according to some pundits on the South coast - would make sense to have Zetterstrom around to look after Jonasson. And it's possible that Poole, still Zetterstrom's parent club, who were interested in Jonasson, might cut a deal with the Monarchs for Zetterstrom in exchange for a later option on Jonasson. So, how likely?

Well, it's possible naturally. But after reading about Edinburgh's admirable ambitions for the future, surely they'd be more likely to want to hang on to any young assets such as Jonasson?

In the interview regarding the signing on Thomas own site, THJ is quoted as saying; "I know they are after another swedish rider and that would be very good for me" www.thjracing.se/index.php?mode=page&open=1&id=158
