I'm really looking forward to seeing both teams' new Poles in action......Krzysztof Buczkowski for the Panthers and Artur Mroczka for the Pirates.
Peterborough are currently topping the table courtesy of a Good Friday double over Coventry, but they will need Screwy Lewie to get his act together if they are to threaten Poole. Poole started their season with a demolition of the current Champions Wolverhampton, so let's hope we have a good meeting in store!!

From the BSPA..........
FOLLOWING their emphatic home win against Wolverhampton the POOLE Castle Cover PIRATES are immediately turning their attentions to PETERBOROUGH who are in town on Wednesday night (7th April).
Poole's opening win on Easter Sunday featured Polish reserve Artur Mroczka banging in some big points but the 20 year old will miss Wednesday's encounter as he will be looking to win the Polish U21 championship in Gdansk. The Pirates will cover his absence by using their official number 8, former world champion Gary Havelock. "Havvy" resumes his association with the Pirates, a club he captained back in 2002 and team manager Neil Middleditch believes "there could be no-one better to call upon as a number 8 ".
Middleditch was justifiably proud of his side on Sunday admitting "as a group the boys had precious little time on the newly laid circuit because of the weather but none of them disappointed and it was a very positive performance. But things don't get any easier and the visit of Peterborough will be tough that is for sure. The win under our belts will have given us an injection of confidence but we are going to have to be on our guard against Peterborough because they have begun the season well themselves".
The Cambridgeshire side enjoyed a Good Friday double over Coventry and through their 7 league points are the early pacesetters in the Elite league. They come to Wimborne Road with two exciting youngsters - Lewis Bridger and Troy Batchelor - providing a solid mid order power punch. With Niels Kristian Iversen and diminutive Kenneth Bjerre leading the way for the Panthers there are no shortage of potentially big hitters in the Panthers side.
The two sides meet again on Friday when the Pirates travel to the East of England Showground for their first away meeting of the season.
Latest team news:-
Poole: C.Holder (8.76); B.Pedersen (7.76); D.Watt - captain (6.94); D.Ward (4.56);J.Doyle (4.38); L.Madsen (4.00); G.Havelock (3.72) Team Manager Neil Middleditch
Peterborough N.Iversen - captain (7.80); K.Bjerre (7.69); T.Batchelor ( 7.01); L.Bridger (6.77); U.Ostergaard (4.46); K.Buczkowski (4.00); J.Parsons (3.00) Team Manager Trevor Swales

If anyone wants to write out the heat details (just results, no need to worry about rider scores) it'll save me a job. Thanks.
