And it looks like Tomasz Gollob could be leaving Vastervik for Valsarna. That would be terrible news for the club, leaving only Bjarne Pedersen, the Lagutas, and Chris Harris notable names on their books.
Vastervik have told their riders they'll be paid by the end of the month, and hope to start team building then.
Bjarne Pedersen has signed a contract with a Swedish team. Although he won't say who, speculation is that he'll return to Vastervik, with the announcement being made on the 5th or 6th December.
SVEMO still have to be satisfied, however, that the club can afford to run next year, and will check the budget before making their final decision.

I would say the opposite that he is leaving Västervik for Indianerna. Bjarne's pressrelease will be released the day after Indianerna's press conference which will be held on December 4th.

I would say the opposite that he is leaving Västervik for Indianerna. Today it seems more likely he'll be leaving, although it's not yet known who for. But Vastervik are expecting Tomasz Gollob and the Lagutas to honour their contracts, which were two year deals signed for the 2009 season, and Peter Helgesson has said he's recently spoken to Gollob, who has not asked to get out of his contract.

But i am not sure i trust Helgesson since he made some statements that he wanted to have Ulamek and Gapinski back in the team. He also said that they hadn't signed with Valsarna despite that Valsarna already had faxed the contracts to Svemo and despite that Ulamek says on his website that he will ride for Valsarna in 2010.

Masarnas young prospect Anton Rosén has been awarded with a financial award from Kennny Olsson's memorial Fund. The award was at 15'000 Swedish kronor (~£1300GBP) and is ment to be used for speedway equipment. www.vt.se/sport/artikel.aspx?articleid=5169434Västervik have still not been able to pay their debts their riders. www.vt.se/sport/artikel.aspx?articleid=5169425There have been claims that Västervik already have 4 riders under contract; Gollob, Harris, and 2x Laguta but with this info i doubt that those claims are valid. What rider would sign a new contract with the team that owes them money? Even if any of the riders would have a year left of the contract i would assume that they can break their contract due to the fact that Västervik have failed to pay the debts.

and it looks like Chris Harris will stay at Västervik next season after all, since he ' appears to have been paid today.
Bjarne P on the other hand still havent been paid so i guess that Västervik only or primarily will pay those who will ride for them the next season.

# the old format league format with "double meetings" wheer teams meet the same opponent two weeks in a row will be used both in Elitserien and allsvenskan. # the heat schedule will stay the same. # Div 1 will be allowed to loan riders from any other team. # riders will be allowed to use an unlimited amount of tires in Elitserien. # the rule about punishment with wrong colours on the helmet hood will not be changed.
