SVEMO have still not clarified what, exactly, the rules will be next year, but already there are one or two rumours buzzing about.
Newly promoted team, Valsarna, have confirmed that Seb Alden and Anders Mellgren should be back with them - it's just a case of tweaking their contracts.
Rumoured riders to join the club are Rune Holta and Daniel Nermark, but Micke Lindh has said they're not going for a team loaded with GP riders - that they want to be able to pay their riders and stay in the black.
Interesting to read that Krzysztof Jablonski and Kauko Nieminen don't get along - indeed, they have only ridden together once this year, and that situation looks to be ongoing.

there is also big doubts to if Team Bikab (Smederna youth) will have a team next season.
Several of the riders (the 2-3 best riders) are threatening to leave the team if Team Bikab stays in div1.
One of the rides says that the riders were persuaded to keep the team in Div1 for this season and that they do not want to ride in Div1 next season. newly elected team board chairman Jan Åkerviken says that "we cant afford allsvenskan" in 2010.
IMO it will be a big mistake to stay in div1 especially if some of the best riders do move to other teams, because there wont be any interest in the team if they aren't any good and then well its good bye to speedway in Eskilstuna.

Nicki P, Piotr Swiderski, Jason Doyle, Troy Batchelor, Lewis Bridger and Dennis Andersson all have contracts with Lejonen for next year. Chris Holder has not yet signed, but has verbally agreed to stay with the club, and they are also hoping to sign Darcy Ward.

AJ has approached Rospiggarna to ride for them in 2010, but he hasn't heard anything back over the last three weeks, so is also in talks with Indianerna, Piraterna and, of course, Dackarna. na.se/sporten

Rospiggarna have talked with AJ a few days ago where Rosp. said that they were still interested. I think its quite likely that AJ either stays with Dackarna or moves home to Rospiggarna.
With Fredrik Lindgren signing a new 2 year deal with Dackarna the question is if there is room for AJ at Dackarna.

Lejonen want to keep Mikael Max for next year, and Vargarna have offered Tai Woffinden an extension to his contract, which they are fairly confident he'll accept.

Hopes for a 10 team Elitserien have fallen flat as Ornarna declined to move up. The 9 teams for next year are:
Dackarna Elit Vetlanda Indianerna Lejonen Piraterna Rospiggarna Valsarna Vargarna Vastervik

schumi just a little note. It was SVEMO who rejected Örnarnas Elitserien application and not Örnarna who turned it down.

Thanks ghostie. Can you see Vastervik competing next year? The more I read, the more worrying it seems.
