Schumi that Pepe would stay with Indianerna is no surprise since he have one year left on his two year deal.
Slightly more surprising is that Adams stays with Lejonen especially with his high average.

I imagine he has the same sort of deal that he did last year - he'll cover for Nicki if he's absent for any reason, and will have a limited amount of guaranteed meetings.

Jonas Davidsson stays with Piraterna, whilst Kauko Nieminen steps up to the Elitserien and has signed for Rospiggarna. The Hallstavik club are also in talks with Darcy Ward.

Krzysztof Kasprzak has extended his contract with Vargarna for another two years. www.nt.seAnd Leigh Adams will indeed be on a limited number of meetings for the Lions, but perhaps more interesting is that he's taken a substantial pay cut to do so - somewhere in the region of half a million kroner. www.finnveden.nu

Västervik's fate will be decided tonight. They will have a meeting with their sponsors tonight. Västervik first needs money to: pay for their debts ~ 1'400'000kr (~£120'000) funds for the incorporation, minimum 100'000kr (~£8700) funds for next season, ?? www.sr.se/cgi-bin/kalmar/nyheter/artikel.asp?artikel=3228359

Oliver Berntzon, David Ruud and Anton Gothberg will all be with Lejonen. www.lejonen.seRegarding Vastervik, still no news on the website or local papers, but the riders are beginning to lose patience, as Bjarne Pedersen is supposedly replacing Holta for Indianerna. But I wonder what will happen to the long serving Tomasz Gollob if they do disappear? Perhaps give up racing in Sweden?

All the fancy wages dont look so good now, time to thin the ranks in sweden and i cant wait for the fallout in poland as chicken come home to roost.

The meeting was unhelpful, and now Vastervik are urgently looking to the municipality for financial assistance. It's not looking good - they need to find the money this week or it's unlikely they'll run Elitserien next season.

"Gotland Islanders" aka Bysarna still have hopes of completing a new 80cc track for next season. despite a new delay. Even though the that the neighbours of the new proposed site all have granted Bysarna to build there, the city planning office have demanded that all neighbours have to fill out a form which Bysarna have to attach to their application. Until they have done so the planning office cannot approve Bysarnas' construction application. Västervik had a crisis meeting yesterday evening but are not any closer to a solution. The sponsors don't want to contribute with any more money until Västervik signs a couple good riders. Västervik on the other hand cant sign any riders until the debts have been paid. Västervik now hopes that Västervik municipality will stand surety for a loan. Indianerna's team manager confirms that he have talked with Bjarne Pedersen and Nils Kristian Iversen but that those two want to wait and see what happens to Västervik.

Henka Gustafsson will ride for Valsarna next season.
Dave Watt will stay with Lejonen which means that Lejonen's squad is full.
