All of these meetings were scheduled to take place on Easter Monday, but unfortunately the new stadium in Torun will not be completed in time for the fixture, so the meeting has been deferred until a later date.

And if the Pocking GP qualifier meeting is rained off, the reserve day is Sunday 13th, which will mean the remaining Ekstraliga fixtures will be cancelled. Balinski, Watt, Lindback and Hampel are all down to ride on Monday.

Bad news for our beloved First Lady and Unia Leszno as Damian Balinski withdraws from the meeting against Czestochowa with an ankle injury after his tumble in Pocking today: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/04/12/unia-leszno-bez-damiana-balinskiego/It is not yet known how serious the injury is, but I'm sure we all wish him a swift recovery and that very soon he striking terror into the heart of rivals again.

And we're underway in Gorzow, where Edinburgh's famed "invisible speedway rider" has appeared and beaten World Junior Champion and 2009 GPer Emil Sajfutdinov.

A bit of a delay in Wroclaw while they fix the damage inflicted on the safety fence by Barker's mayhem in Ht 1 - looks like he went down and took Janowski and Vaculik with him.

What a rare and precious talent Sajfutdinov is - passes Holta and Jonasson to take the win in Ht 4. Agree totally. Fantastic third and fourth bends from him to lead entering lap 2. Just need the sopcast stream back up and running now to watch the remainder of this meeting. From the look of it Bydgoszcz are in for a bit of a spanking.

What a supine display from Andreas Jonsson, by the looks of things. Aye...but he's not on his own. Bar Sajtfutdiov and, to a small extent, Lindback all the Polonia riders have been poor. Normally beaten out of the starts and if not are passed with ease.
