I watched the last two-thirds of the Czestochowa v Leszno meeting on justin.tv. I had an idea I'd find them somehwere other than the Polish TV site so I didn't part with any money. Are these streams legal? I don't want to complain or anything, I'm just curious.

Balinski is irreplaceable. A broken foot for Balinski, by the looks of things: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/04/14/damian-balinski-mam-nadzieje-ze-wroce-na-falubaz/But it seems that in spite of the pain, he wanted to correct reports that he was lying in second place when he tumbled in Pocking - Balinski says he was leading when he crashed out on the third lap. And he says he'll be back for Leszno at the weekend as they host Zielona Gora. In other news, the Torun versus Zielona Gora fixture has been arranged for May 17th, 2009.

And it seems the excitement was all too much for one drunken fan at the Gorzow versus Bydgoszcz meeting and he got himself into a bit of mischief, necessitating the intervention of the local rozzers. The guy has now been fined 1,000 zloty and banned from the Gorzow stadium for two years - indeed, he has to present himself to the local rozzer station when speedway meetings are taking place: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/04/15/zakaz-stadionowy-dla-kibica-w-gorzowie-wielkopolskim/

Just a little reminder that today sees the Torun versus Zielona Gora meeting taking place - the action is scheduled to start at 3:00pm BST and it's being televised, so should be available on-line.

It's not looking good for the Angels so far - Smolinski a poor replacement for Kosciecha and Falubaz are on fire.

Falubaz being let down by their foreign stars, again. Lindgren and - more especially - Iversen have been supine in the Ekstraliga so far this season.

Iversen says it's a "joke" that he has gone over to Poland and looks like just having one race - Falubaz fans might reply that his performance in his one race was a joke. And they'd be right. I doubt his outburst will endear him to either the club or the fans.

More great stuff from Miedzinski in Ht 14 - he and Walasek were virtually side-by-side for the last couple of laps. Miedzinski held his nerve, executed the pass and has a paid maximum - he's emerging as a very useful senior rider.
