Edinburgh started a meeting that was never likely to reach a conclusion - I spent the whole day in the Bathgate-Armadale area and the weather was poor all day. But take the fourteen quid off the mugs and hope to muddle through to Ht 12 and a result. It's a disgrace. BOTH teams wanted to start the meetings so why not have a go at Somerset too? Or is just the usual bashing of Edinburgh? Rymel gave up a lot of money by not riding yesterday - and he wouldn't have done that unless the reason was geniune, especially as he attended the meeting. Or maybe the threat of a 28 day ban persuaded him not to.

But, however you look at it, John Campbell had a rant regarding something had never happened which is: 1) Very funny ;D ;D 2) Leaves him needing to apologise to both Rymel and Workington Speedway

If you say so. We all know on here that if it's said by you or Sube then it has to be correct.

ML, well in this case, it's said by me AND the Old Momgol and that's something of rarity in itself, as we seldomly agree on anything. Campbell shouldn't have said what he said in public on Friday night. He should have waited and seen what happened yesterday at Prague. He has now ended up with not only egg but a full breakfast on his face. ;D

I'l like to see more than 6 meetings a season if you don't mind. The track was dodgy for maybe 3 heats last night as to be expected after such rain. By heat 5 it was looking ok and most times were in the 56/58 seconds range only 1/2 seconds slower than usual. We had riders still racing , Gathercole and Wethers passing in style. We then had further rain before the away team asked for an inspection.

It came out of the Czech Republic on Tuesday that Rymel wouldn't be riding on Friday yet he managed to race on the Wednesday before mysteriously falling ill and you don't find that suspicious?

I can't imagine Nicki Pedersen riding unless it's for very good money. Rymel gave up a lot of money by not riding yesterday - and he wouldn't have done that unless the reason was geniune, especially as he attended the meeting. Whilst I agree with the general principle that JDC has publicly made a twat of himself (yet again), I suspect you are talking utter pish in this post genghis. Do you KNOW what Adrian was due to be paid for appearing for the meeting? Just cos Nicki would likely be getting paid handsomely doesn't mean that the natives would be getting anything special to take part. Unless you know for a fact that Adrian was on some special money to appear, I will settle for thinking that you are talking pish. Do you completely ignore the possibility that Worky told him to sit it out and they would cover his income from that match to avoid a ban? For the second time in recent weeks Edinburgh couldn't be arsed to run a full meeting and called time after just twelve heats as the Somerset Rebels came calling last night: Harsh on the Monarchs promotion....and I say that despite the fact that I have been ripped off for £28 for 24 races in my last 2 visits to the Dale (at those prices the GP challenge is starting to look like a fuckin bargain, but only if the rumours that PePe is out for the season are wrong!) I would prefer to hand my abuse to the Rebels team....Nothing really changed between heats 11 and 12, but as soon as they had 12 in the books and knew that they could avoid another trip up to the Dale they were out begging for a call-off. Pathetic from them. OK, the entertainment value was below what it should have been, but Gathercole was riding the track beautifully, and I was well pissed off that they cheated me out of seeing him going at it with Bert.

I see it hasn't taken long for Messrs Wolbert and Dilger to unearth the secrets of invisibility. And of course Edinburgh massively strengthened by having a capable rider in place of the incompetent Min Dilger.

Clearly a birthday present to Paulco I only got a text 15 minutes before start time with the info, so not sure what's gone on there. Rico

Rico It was clearly pre-arranged, or did William Lawson happen to turn up at Armadale with his bikes and leathers. All seems to be one big average fiddle, with Min Dilger (that was my name Sube, but I'll let you use it ) missing his 12th meeting to keep Summers at reserve and Wolbert missing so that his average stays at 7.00 for next season.

I'll wait and find out what the official reasoning given is. You must be creaming your pants at the prospect of all this Monarchs bashing available to you. While you're at it, keep on your crusade regarding the missing Conda last Sunday, who was riding in Poland while the Tiggers were about to use r/r for him. Rico

Given your comments on Rymel being missing last week I assume you will apologise for the above remarks when Edinburgh provide medical certs for both riders? A real genuine non Fisher like apology mind
