Information received from friends in Lezsno suggest if the rain doesnt stop by 02.00am leszno time, it will be postponed tomorrow as well 1. Did it stop raining and is the meeting still on? 2. Has the Old Mongol risen from his pit yet?

The answer to question 2 is yes, he has risen from his pit, just about. And according to the Leszno website, the meeting will start on time at 10:00am BST.

Is there a rule stating that a rider must use a new helmet after a tumble?

Is there a rule stating that a rider must use a new helmet after a tumble? I don't know, but the racing is crap so far.

Is there a rule stating that a rider must use a new helmet after a tumble? The helmet has to be checked by the Machine Examiner or Clerk of the Course (can't remember which) before it's allowed to be used again. Awesome speed from Hampel, he had no right to get by Crump there. Rico

I thought the Russian a little unlucky there - Watt riding like an old woman.

Must make all the Team GB supporters proud to see their young gun in an Aussie shirt pulling his weight.

I thought the Russian a little unlucky there - Watt riding like an old woman. Not just a little. He did nothing wrong. Watt tried to close a gap once Greg was already in it....How it's Greg's fault that Watt decided to do that and then lay it down is a mystery to me.

Super first lap from Miedzinks - that'll settle the Poles down a bit I think.
And nice final bend from the Rio kid.
