What are the ramifications for the Ekstraliga if this is postponed? Nevermind the Ekstraliga, what about the ramifications for my sleep of a 10:00am BST start for the re-staging?

From the sounds of it the Ekstraliga matches will still go ahead in the afternoon/evening with the SWC Final being run so early. Going to be some mad dashing across Poland tomorrow I imagine.

Doesn't Poland have reserve dates left? Sounds mad and quite demeaning to the SWC if they'll just rush it to get to their clubs.

Apparently the track staff at Leszno will start preparing the track at 4:00am BST tomorrow. As things stand, one Ekstraliga meeting has had it's start time delayed to accommodate the SWC final re-staging. If the SWC final is delayed further it could lead to the cancellation of the whole Ekstraliga programme: www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2009/07/18/przygotowania-toru-od-godziny-500/
