I'd have to disagree about THJ, that boy oozes class & natural ability. Fisher maybe faster at times but the control isnt always there - the term throttle jockey springs to mind. I'm still a bit baffled by your comments, can you clarify what sport you believe Fisher will gain a GP place in, does he play bowls in the off season or something?

Fisher is an out and out racer just like THJ. Fisher is the better of the two at the moment.
THJ does ooze class and will one day be in the GPs himself.
Btw any idea what was so offensive about Fishers t-shirt at the Norfolk Arena?

Fisher GP? What a giggle.
Not got the commitment, the quality or the set-up to do Grand Prix's. Best he could hope for is a Legault qualifying run.
International tracks are a whole different ball-park to the UK.

I think its totally unfair to say he dont have the commitment. As for the quality he has proved its there. its a case of getting his confidence back and scoring high consistantly. How do you know he doesnt have the set up? he hasnt ridden very many international tracks from what i can remember.

So Snyper, do you see Fisher in the same type of category as Nicki Pedersen, Leigh Adams, Hans Andersen, Tomas Gollob or even NKI, Bjarne Pedersen, Rune Holta as GP standard riders?

How do you know he doesnt have the set up? he hasnt ridden very many international tracks from what i can remember. Commitment - back when he had a chance of being a top rider, he pissed up the wall. Quality - He's yet to average 9 in the UK top division and then 9 in Poland and Sweden. Set-Up - He's been disorganised before his number of EF's and chain going last season prove this. International Tracks - Well he's left himself a mountain to climb, born on the distances barely under 200. Swindon's the biggest track he's had. He'd be eaten alive in Poland. I don't see Fisher beating the GP's lower lights - so how he's going to stake a claim?

he hasnt ridden very many international tracks from what i can remember. That ought to set him up well for the GPs.

I think Wacks that you have missed my point previously i never expect Fish to be the standard of Leigh or Hans etc. I am talking lower order GP rider. I would actually rate the Fish as being better than the "great britain captain" Mr Tape Wrecker Nicholls.

Apart from the fact that you're a member of the Gang of Four, and hate all things English, on what possible basis could you or anyone in their right mind suggest Fisher is better than Nicholls ?

Gang of four? and who would the other 3 happen to be? I dont hate all things English already explained i have English family members. I love them to death i dont hate any of them. I think Nicholls is well over rated and should never be in the GP series. But no i forgot he is ENGLISH therefore he is guarenteed a place.

I think you'll find its Britain that has two guaranteed places Snippy, nothing to do with England or Nicholls. Who over-rates Nicholls ? my views on him are totally realistic, and he remains unpopular and therefore like all unpopular sportsmen UNDER-rated, for example you think Fisher is better than him, which is ridiculous.

Let's not forget that Ryan put in a dominant display in the SWC qualifier in Miskolc last year, racking up an awe inspiring 6 points against the combined might of Germany, Hungary and Latvia.

But was top-scorer for the colonials, who included The Joke in their line-up. It's going to be mighty strange on Sky Sports this year without having The Joke jumping on a team mates machinery because his own is rubbish.

Is Billy J not riding in Britain this year ? No, Coventry decided Chris Harris could have his machinery all to himself this season.
