And this week obviously sees the screaming imbecile and his sidekick Kelvin Tatum MBE heading back to the heartland of young stanley's revolution. This will be Sky's second visit to the Arena Essex raceway to see the title chasing Lakeside Hammers in action on their own shale. Their first visit was a bit one-sided, with the hapless Coventry Bees being put to the sword comfortably. And you'd back the Hammers to dispose of this week's visitors - Bobby D's Eastbourne Eagles - comfortably. But when the Eagles last visited the track by the shopping centre, it was far from easy, as the Hammers sneaked a win (48:45) courtesy of a Tactical Ride from Joonas Kylmakorpi in Ht 8. So, this one could be tight. And there is a little ill-feeling between the camps, with young stanley's views on Bobby D's Eastbourne track not going down to well in Sussex. It should all add up to a feisty encounter that could go either way. But I expect the Hammers to win.

Bjarne Pedersen has apparently been drafted in as a guest in case Andreas can't make this one. His partner is due to give birth any day (a son, I believe) and it seems Lakeside have been granted a facility on the same grounds as Charlie Gjedde had earlier in the season. Or so Shovlar says.

While I think Jonsson should be allowed to miss the meeting for the birth of his son, I don't think a facility should be allowed in such circumstances.
Why don't Lakeside use their No. 8 Kauko Nieminen?

Well, I'm going for a Lakeside win by 8 points. Looking forward to seeing Bridger in full resplendency.

What a shocking fucking non-decision from the referee - Kennett hadn't made the start, laid it down and should've been excluded.

There's a little bump on turn 2 in the exact same place as the ruts at Arlington - I'm wondering if it's a wry point being made? At any rate, someone forgot to tell Tomicek about it, as it's caught him out twice now.

Well, justice was served. You have to feel sorry for Brundle. He has no place being in the Elite League.

Poor show from Leigh Lanham there - he should've cleared the track. There's been some decent racing tonight - one of Sky's better efforts. I wonder if anyone will pluck up the courage to mention the failure of the global superstar and his new mentor Kelvin Tatum MBE?

You see, you have to admire Bridger - on the receiving end of a 5-1 and still cleared the track. Really enjoying this.

And Bridger shows Lanham how it's done - well done to the young fellow for clearing the track so swiftly. Top marks.
