So, a first appearance of the season on Sky for Wolverhampton and Lakeside. The televised meetings this season have been good value, with only the Belle Vue versus Poole meeting being a "duffer". But unlike Kirkmanshulme Lane, Monmore Green rarely disappoints on the racing front. I'd expect a close encounter, with the home side winning.

I'd expect Lakeside to line-up as follows:-
1. AJ 2. Leigh Lanham 3. Adam Shields 4. Joonas Kylmakorpi 5. Jonas Davidsson 6. Ricky Kling 7. Lubos Tomicek

Wolves
1. Fredrik Lindgren 7.75 2. Ales Dryml 5.00 3. Neils K Iversen 7.38 4. Kenneth Hansen 4.00 5. David Howe 6.45 6. Nicolai Klindt 4.00 7. Christian Hefenbrock 3.93
AJ is a great rider, but hasn't had brilliant meetings at Monmore and the same for the rest of the team really. Kylmakorpi was good around Monmore, but over the last two seasons he hasn't done that well.
Easy 51-39 victory for Wolves .... maybe more

This is complete and utter rubbish - it's even worse than the Belle Vue meeting. Embarrassing to see such awful racing - in fact, it hardly qualifies as racing.

Andreas not looking at all good tonight, but a harsh move on Tomicek by Klindt.

Not helped by the pretentious and overblown opening titles and team preview plus our dear friend Jonathan Green running the full range of his fake sincere and knowledgeable expressions whilst facing the gurning Kelvin Tatum.
Then tapes up and the racing is shite.
Great, think I'll go watch some paint dry.

It's not getting any better, is it? And which team mate did Jonas Davidsson finish behind in his first outing? The screaming imbecile seemed to think it was Shields. One in the eye for those (genghis) who believe the screaming imbecile doesn't make silly mistakes.

So exciting is it that I find myself observing that the stock image of Ricky Kling looks like old pictures of Jan Verner.
And who is this Alice Dryml? Now I think I know where the Dryml 'Sisters' are derived.
See how I get mischievous when bored?

This has got to be up there with one of the most boring Sky meetings ever. What a joke. I pay £40 a month for this tripe.

Still uninspiring, but of course the screaming imbecile thinks it's great - does he think we're all cretins?

Not nearly as many mistakes as Millard, though. Keenly fought meeting tonight, now building up to a climax. Shame we haven't had a bit more passing, though - why have they taken all the dirt off - Wolverhampton normally produces super racing.

I'm bored. Might have to watch the "Spooks" we Sky+'d last night instead at this rate!

Still uninspiring, but of course the screaming imbecile thinks it's great - does he think we're all cretins? I've only watched to heat 6 (doing my usual SKY+ and whizz through the crap) but up until now the 'screaming imbecile' is remarkably subdued! Seriously do you think the Subedei/Lupus campaign has had some effect.....maybe he's been told to shut the fuck up?!!! ETA: The meeting itself is total shite...what the hell have they done to the best track in the EL?! I haven't been to Monmore since May last year....and watching this isn't making me yearn to go back any time soon........
