Bollocks. Just looked through the listings, and there's no football on either. Really think I'll cancel Sky and just get Setanta. £10 a month, you can't go wrong.

there are far too many awful riders in this league, last week we saw 2 poole riders have 9 rides between them and score jack shit, and now tonight we see hansen 3 last places, klindt 3 last places and hefenbrock 2 last places. and this from a home team.

Well, I'm not worried about the quality of the meeting, I'm just pleased for the Hammers on a fine win, and to see Jonas, Joonas and Ricky, especially, doing so well.

green describes the 'lakeside franchise' wow, they are a franchise, and there was me thinking teams. formed and disbanded on little more than a whim.
and how bad must hansen be, to not only be replaced by a reserve but one who nets 4 last places from 5 rides

Wolverhampton deserve to lose for serving up this dreadful meeting - I notice that - finally - Belle Vue seem to be turning into the team I expected, losing to Swindon. Swindon are looking damn fine, it has to be said.

What a fucking nob is Peter Adams...it must have some sort of joke when they dubbed him a tactical genius!!! Why not put Iversen off a 15m double in heat 14! Seriously there was NOTHING to lose!
Fuck this - I was going to go dwon to Monmore on the bank holiday Monday but I think i'd rather do some more decorating!!!!
Well done Lakesdie - you deserve the win!

My god - Heat 15 is a half-decent race.

Well, it fizzled out a bit in the end - the weakest Sky match this year by some distance.
A few observations. What a selfish git Jonsson is - not team-riding with Ricky Kling in Heat 11, in fact actually pushing his young team-mate wide.
I can't understand why Iversen wasn't off 15m in Heat 14 - it was worth a go.
Lakeside are a very well balanced team, but they will face harder challenges than a top-heavy Wolves side.

the only 2 team leaders in the league nowadays are andersen and nicholls That's possibly unfair on Crump and certainly unfair on Adams - Adams is really showing his worth as a "team leader" with the youngsters at Swindon this season.

Howe was TRYING to team ride in one heat tonight but Klindt (?) was so slow he couldn't slow down enough!

Leigh's actual team-riding is not brilliant (although he doesn't try to push out his own team-mates), but he is a leader.
