SR - I wouldn't dismiss Mr. Gollob that easily. With the next round in Leszno, he could continue his excellent start to the 2008 campaign, and if we have a motivated Gollob throughout the year, who knows? if i was the gp race director,i would be looking for big wide banked tracks, with plenty of dirt, and mr gollob would have a serious chance of taking the title, however olsen is and he has a penchant for tiny little circuits with not a speck of dirt in sight, and we all know that is of no use to the gollob's and harris's at all. SR - but Harris won at Cardiff last year - an unbanked, small, fairly slick track

Managed to get this one taped; rather by luck than judgment - I guess, and just finished viewing it. (No need for the disc Jacques thanks anyway...)
A meeting of two halves. Pre and Post rain, and gates 1,2, and 3,4. Is not about time that for the sake of fairness, they revert to a hard standing for the gate area - as used in the past.
It all worked in Gollob's favour though, so congratulations to him. Someone had to win it. I enjoyed the event.
Who will be the next rider that will have the honour of the front page of the Speedway Star in a frame, in recognition of completing in 500 GP races? What a generous gesture from IMG.
I have to say though what wonderful and competitive speedway rider is Lukas Dryml. Very impressed with that young man. Hope he does well in the remainder of the series.

It would be hard not to have been charmed by young Dryml at the GP, although maybe not too hard for kevh. I think he's just going out there to enjoy himself and isn't taking it too seriously - if his form continues the way it is, that could change and you won't be seeing him taking tumbles and exclusions with quite the same magnanimity as he did in Krsko.

I am sure even young KevH is more than familiar with that old idiom Sube:
"To err is human and to forgive is divine."
