i think harry's mood may be more than a little, shaped by the kicking his team recieved at home to sheffield wednesday, and the thought that their survival depends on a trip to 'premiership bound' stoke city On the other hand you must be delighted the Lions secured safety today in disposing of promotion chasing Carlisle . spot on paulco the stuatroad household is embarking on a massive celebration,in other words i am pissed and happy. * oh and harry if the worst comes to the worst you always have a trip to the NEW DEN to cheer you up.

One Lukas Dryml. There's only Lukas Dryml. One Lukas Dryml. I could dig out hundreds of posts by KevH, Badge et al at this point, but I'm not like that. I stick by my prediction that Lukas Dryml will reach at least one, or maybe two of three finals this year, and will be in contention for a top 8 place.

That sounds like a plan to me. And a Hendry win, followed by a Ferrari 1-2, then maximum points for Nicki P tonight so I can gloat at genghis. What else could a girl want? Well, Schumi, Hendry did win, but Ferrari only managed a 1-3 and Nicki P couldn't even win the GP, let alone score maximum points. And the star of the night was the one and only Lukas Dryml, finishing sixth and missing the final by a whisker, despite a dodgy exculsion where Jason Crump clipped Lukas with his dirt deflector. But Lukas did not whinge and moan - no, he took his exclusion like a man and said "That's Speedway". He was a star on and off the track. Instead of you gloating at me, I think it might be me gloating in the direction of the anti-Lukas mob.

Excellent start to the series! Well done Tomasz! ;D I'll second that!! I too thought it was a very good start to the series, despite the weather - great to see Gollob at his best (although his grasp of Inglish may be getting worse - also very happy to see the two Danes come in 2nd & 3rd. Dryml & Iversen made a good impression but what happened to Leigh Adams

I hope he's recorded it !! .... Yeh the weather played it's part, but an absolutely brilliant GP, the best I've seen... He didn't. But fortunately the repeat starts in about fifteen minutes, so it'll just be a [very] late night. Good to know that the great man is going to win it - his twelfth Grand Prix win and only Jason Crump and Tony Rickardsson can beat that. It's also ten more than any Briton has managed (Mark Loram has won a couple) and three times as many as Britain has managed.

With the next round in Leszno, he could continue his excellent start to the 2008 campaign, and if we have a motivated Gollob throughout the year, who knows?

With the next round in Leszno, he could continue his excellent start to the 2008 campaign, and if we have a motivated Gollob throughout the year, who knows? if i was the gp race director,i would be looking for big wide banked tracks, with plenty of dirt, and mr gollob would have a serious chance of taking the title, however olsen is and he has a penchant for tiny little circuits with not a speck of dirt in sight, and we all know that is of no use to the gollob's and harris's at all.
