Crazy move from AJ taking gate 2 in the semi final, handing it to Nicki on a plate - now he'll find himself off 3 or 4 in the final. Couldn't believe that myself, but anyway he blew himself with the false start...

i have no doubt gollob is happy,i have no doubt the polish speedway public are happy, and i have no doubt subedei is happy, however there is no one happier than your own stuartroad who was on hand to take the ludicrous 33/1 YES thirty three to one on gollob winning after three rounds, bearing in mind the polish master had two gate one's following the heavy downpour.

Congratulations to a most unlikely winner - Tomasz Gollob. So you think that was unlikely . Erm Mildenhall beat Kings Lynn

i have no doubt subedei is happy Judging from the text I just had, Subedei is more surprised. He's not the only one.

Gollob just happened to be in the right place at the right time with the gate positions . But he took the opportunity brilliantly . The guy that threw it away was Andreas Jonsson , what was he thinking off choosing gate 2 in the semi-final ?

Thoroughly enjoyed that GP. Well done Tomek, 3 of my fave riders in that final but I really wanted him to win, he'll love having the yellow jersey on in Leszno. I was really hoping Lukas would get through to the final too. I became a bit of a fan of his tonight!

I hope you were watching the superior GP updates young Harry . Sadly not...I rushed in from popping my parents into town (Leicester will be a real moody place to drink in tonight) and the first thing which came into my mind was CS's site. Looking back I prefer you more fanzine-esque heat details.
