Well, after last week's season opener at the Citadel of Shame, this week sees a double header on Sky Sports, with Poole visiting Belle Vue on Monday and then Eastbourne - winners at Brandon last week - taking a trip to the EoES to face the Panthers on Tuesday. It's hard to see Kirkmanshulme Lane being a happy hunting ground for Poole's Polish contingent of Zabik and Suchecki, so you'd have to fancy Belle Vue on the night. Poole will probably be hard hit by the loss of Skornicki, but BP, Holder and Watt should keep it close. And I'd expect Peterborough to win against the Eagles, who'll struggle in the absence of the former British champion and the presence of Brundle should mean some points for the struggling Moller, Vissing, Simota and Risager - if Moller can't take points off Brundle he might as well give up.

I didn't know Claus Vissing was struggling. For a 3 pointer he is doing ok.

I didn't know Claus Vissing was struggling. For a 3 pointer he is doing ok. He seems to be struggling with his machinery. I think he'll do okay for the Panthers.

Belle Vue are again without Boxall, and Robert Ksiezak comes in to replace him.

if Moller can't take points off Brundle he might as well give up. The only Elite League rider he has taken points off was Lubos Tomicek at home verses Lakeside - who IMO looked like the worst reserve in the Elite League!

Going to sit on the fence for both meetings - 45-45 in both.

Okay, guessing Sub's asleep again I'll update this for anyone who doesn't have Sky. Not sleeping at all, although if the action continues the way it is, I might soon be. Does speedway get any worse that this? It's dreadful.

I disagree after the last one. Heat 8 was a pleasure to watch - Eriksson going between the two BV riders after having a couple of wild moments. Didn't think Zabik knew he was behind him, but somehow he did, and let him through.

It was okay. But, facing facts, it was just a couple of clowns being overtaken by a more experienced rider. And then straight back to the dross. Been to Belle Vue once and won't be going again - the track is dreadful. By the way, I hope all those who claim the screaming imbecile makes no mistakes noticed he had Rajkowski in Ht 8 for the duration, when it was Ksiezak.

Reports coming through that the two doughnuts on Sky are in shock that Eriksson hasn't made an appearance in Heat 15. That would be his 8th ride!

I didn't half enjoy that in the end....blimey, a great win for Belle Vue on a difficult track, Poole have certainly got some great signings....Erikkson was superb wasn't he?... Holder and Zabik...jeepers, the Coventry team will struggle against them...but a great win for Belle Vue, what a great signing Charlie was....

Does speedway get any worse that this? It's dreadful. What? Tonight was one of the best televised matches for a while, with the likes of Fast Freddie Eriksson and Charlie Gjedde providing some spectacular entertainment.
