Poor track, inconsistent refereeing decisions, and only two good heats. And to top it all we have to see Crump's backside poking in the air.

Reports coming through that the two doughnuts on Sky are in shock that Eriksson hasn't made an appearance in Heat 15. That would be his 8th ride! Just more proof that Kelvin Tatum MBE doesn't understand the rules of the sport. What a fool. Giving an in depth analysis of why Poole hadn't gone with Eriksson, when anyone with more than a couple of brain cells would've said he couldn't take eight rides. What? Tonight was one of the best televised matches for a while, with the likes of Fast Freddie Eriksson and Charlie Gjedde providing some spectacular entertainment. Just proof that genghis just doesn't understand the sport, full stop. That was just dismal stuff.

Heat 8 was one of the best races you'll see all season. Spellbinding stuff by Freddie, especially on such a challenging track. Add in the battle to the line in Heat 2, and two terrific races in the final two heats, and it was enthralling stuff. Peter Clarke was shocking though. It's hard to take you at all seriously these days...

And to top it all we have to see Crump's backside poking in the air. Which was, to be fair, the most entertainment we got all night! He looked like a beetle, trying to get up off the floor! ;D

Er... rain and snow, what did you expect? The track was actually excellent given the recent waether and allowed those who went for it to race. Freddie's ride in Heat 8 was class. Freddie nearly came off twice himself, but didn't give up and eventually got his reward. I sometimes wonder why you bother with speedway at all... you don't appear to like the sport.

You see, genghis - I say it, and he half-heartedly agrees. You say it and you get bollocks.

I appreciate speedway, but I don't desperately fish out a tiny positive from a sea of negatives - that was a desperately humdrum meeting. And I'll tell you one thing, if I lived one hundred yards from Kirkmanshulme Lane, I wouldn't attend a single meeting there.

Subedei - er, the only time I've met you in the flesh was at Kirkmanshulme Lane.

Schumi - indeed. A certain old Mongol on the verge of another FOTW nomination... Don't push your luck. I can see his point though.

Don't push your luck. Schumi - does that mean that you'd prefer me not to restart the "Is Subedei a Pillock" thread?

Subedei - er, the only time I've met you in the flesh was at Kirkmanshulme Lane. My first and hopefully last visit to that place.
