I started a thread on the BSF which encouraged people to post when speedway was covered on their local radio stations, the internet or television, and I thought it would be good to replicate it here.
For example, local radio stations often have live commentary on meetings which is promoted locally, but not on a global scale.......this thread is intended to offer that facility to a wider audience.
I'll start it off with the first six televised meetings on Sky, which are:-
Monday 31st March - Coventry v Eastbourne
Monday 7th April - Belle Vue v Poole
Tuesday 8th April - Peterborough v Eastbourne
Monday 14th April - Ipswich v Swindon
Monday 21st April - Wolverhampton v Lakeside
Monday 28th April - Swindon v Eastbourne

Right Kev, during the season, we have a regular "Full throttle" piece on Thursday afternoons on radio Suffolk at 4.50pm where Chris Louis gives an update of the meeting/meetings of that particular week. www.bbc.co.uk/suffolk. So don't forget Thursday's at 4.50. We don't seem to have many live broadcasts sadly, however if we have any I shall post them on here. |

Just heard that the Robins Forum wil be broadcast on BBC Swindon on Monday 3rd March - all 2008 Robins in attendance. Anyone wishing to register a question before the night can e-mail: robins@bbc.co.uk Or they can send a question on the night via text to: 07786 203303. These are the provisional Sky Elite League meetings for the rest of the year, but I'll update them as they are confirmed:
Monday 28th April - Swindon v Eastbourne (confirmed)
Monday 12th May - Eastbourne v Poole
Monday 9th or Thursday 12th June - Ipswich v Poole
Monday 16th June - Eastbourne v Swindon
Monday 21st or Saturday 26th July - Ipswich v Swindon
The following don't say they're televised, but they will be:
Monday 6th October - Sky Sports Elite League Play-Off Final 1st Leg
Monday 13th October - Sky Sports Elite League Play-Off Final 2nd Leg
