The problem with internet forums (and life in general really) is, what one person finds amusing, another one won't. Unfortunately, people rise to the bait. If everyone didn't reply to his over-the-top remarks, he would soon get fed up talking to himself. People like Pinstripe thrive on upsetting people and making them angry. There's no doubt he'll be laughing at the responses he got. That's just the way some people are at times. I can't remember what thread it was but a few weeks ago on the BSF, the Admin edited one of his posts saying something like "Message deleted and user banned for a week". How many chances is he going to have? I don't know how you can ban someone from an internet forum for good. I get the impression people will find a way around everything. Okay, you ban his username and e-mail address, but he'll just create another. He has done this in the past with Pin$tripe and Pinstripe_2003. If you ban his ISP number, it would mean no one else in the household would be able to use the forum. Even if he was the only one, he could have another computer like a laptop. In addition, I think if you get a new computer, you get a different ISP number. The only guaranteed way of stopping him posting on the BSF is if the forum closed down altogether. I know it's difficult to ignore certain comments he makes, but refusing to reply is of the best ways to deal with it, if not the best. I've just read the last 5-6 pages of the Natalie Ann thread on the BSF, and I cannot believe the shit that poor girl got. It was supposed to be a happy event. So what if she's a teenage unmarried mother. She's not alone. Good luck to her I say. If I was her partner/boyfriend I would want to hunt them down and ask them to explain their comments, straight to me, face to face. Not the cowardly way behind a nom de plume and a keyboard. People who have been on the internet for a few years and visited various speedway forums and sites will know his name. He made an unofficial Newport site once - that's how I found out. He even put a photograph of himself on his BSF profile not so long ago. It's not there now (no surprise there then!).

I'm not defending Pinny, what he wrote was out of order, but he wasn't the only one, and has often been found jumping on every bandwagon that passes. It's amazing that he's still actually in Newport hasn't made his way down to Oz yet the amout of 'wagons he's jumped on over the years on the BSF!!!
There were plenty other comments made towards that girl & her young baby, by supposed adults who really should know better. Although it seems one or two have realised they over stepped the mark and have tried to brush off their comments as a joke!

I rarely post on the BSF now as it has become way too cliquey, but the odd wind up of KL fans is ok I guess. Pinstripe has been a grade A Tosser on there for as long as I have been on there, but he is really harmless, I mean anyone that "hides" behind SCB has got to be a gutless trogg. I think the Mods are getting just as pissed off with the BSF as everyone else outside of the clique, but what can they do, someone will always disagree. Mildenhall, I'm sure that your ban was for more than calling someone a pillock, and the fact that its not your first ban must show you something, surely!!! I do agree with the initial comment though, don't just come on here and bitch about it, go on there and bitch about it and then enjoy your next ban. Life is way too short to get all wound up about an internet forum, that is constantly crashing anyway.
