Since Henning Loof has made his home in this country and has built himself a life in this country, I'm happy to regard him the same as any other British rider. But who would he represent at international level - Britain or Germany? to clear this question up... I'm not intending to do the world championships for the next couple of years, I want to dedicate myself fully to british speedway and to this country. Can't say what will happen in the next couple of years, but you don't realise that with the decision I made, in a couple of years time I'd be a foreigner in 2 countries, riding in Britain as a german and in Germany I'll be regarded as an "Emigrant" in Speedway terms, so I doubt that I'd represent any of the countries in the world championships, but those competition are not what I'm really interested in, I just want to ride speedway professionally and do well for my team... sod nationalities (don't take it too heart, bit of a light-hearted statement from myself ;D ) Herman

Lots of enthusiasm, good style, but no equipment and no sponsor, that's what's going on!
Any ideas for a sponsor?

So does that mean none of the British boys should accept sponsorship from non-British companies as I think you will find some of them do benefit form offshore interests...

I have to agree with you Wacks. Genghis - shame on you . I'm assuming you had the same principals over the Brothers Dryml, Hancock, Hammill, Iversen, McGowan etc., who all graced your beloved Oxford

The only riders I've sponsored (in my own little way) have all been British. And I'm not apologising for being patriotic.

Actually genghis I wasn't referring to the sponsorship, but the fact that you said he is taking a place from a British younster, hence my reply .

Badge - but, if you look, my post was more about the appeal for sponsorship - hence my reply. Anyway, how was Greg Hancock taking the place of a British youngster - he was riding at No.1 for an Elite League team.

Now don't be a smartarse matey , or I shall have to cut and paste a statement you posted from the BSF regarding 2 young reserves, non - Brits too .
