Is that Ivan Mauger in second place? Did Mauger ride a wessy? fog No idea - anyway, no trademark handkerchief around the neck, so not Mauger.

Can't see any mention of the leader, Bruce Penhall and i reckon the Lynn rider at the back is Hellsen. I think you might be right about the guy at the back Steve but I am 99% certain that the guy in the front is one of the great Danes.

I reckon it's a couple of Ians - Ian Cartwright of Halifax leading Ian Turner of King's Lynn at King's Lynn in 1978.

I think you could be spot on there Sube. I know its Ian Turner but was not sure about the Halifax rider. The track is correct and the year seems about right.
