Sad to report that, less than a month following the death of Michal Matula, another rider has lost his life following an on-track accident. Kenny Olsson has died as a result of injuries sustained in Sweden last night. May Kenny Olsson rest in peace and may his family and friends find the strength to cope with their loss.

Yeah not really quite sure, how to comment on this, I saw Kenny when he raced for Glasgow and a few times for Trelawny, always entertaining, its such a sad tragic loss
What is speedway going through, the death of the young Czech, and Steady to spend rest of his life in a wheelchair.
You cant seem to pass a week in Speedway, without some major injury or accident taking place.
Very sad at this moment in time
not really sure what to say, its hit me for six

As you'd expect, a minute silence was held at both meetings I attended this weekend (well, at Berwick it didn't seem like Dick Barrie could actually avoid talking for a minute, so it was nearer 30 seconds) in memory of Kenny Olsson. And, again, as you'd expect, the silence was immaculately maintained.
