Well, Genghis willing, I may well haul my weary bones down to the land of sludge and smog to watch his weirdness the Rempala and company in action against the former world champion Gary Havelock and his Bears this Thursday. Should be a comfortable win for the Bears, but it's always a pleasure to see young Havelock in action and, more especially, his American team mate Chris Kerr, who I assume will already have been released from SWC duties by the time this meeting rolls around.

Nice to read a fair and some what normal match review rather than the brain dead Redcar 65 predictions that you get on other Forums, while I wont argue that score is possible it just gets a bit tedious to read. Berwick must have the strangest team that I have supported at the moment because while I wont argue they could get " a gubbing " any where.... there is a still a part of me feels they have the ability to win some where, or I am a just a blind optimist ?.

Nice to read a fair and some what normal match review rather than the brain dead Redcar 65 predictions that you get on other Forums, I just had a look at the BSF thread on this. Wondered why it was 5 pages when the meeting hasn't even started yet. For those who might go and have a look now, I wouldn't bother. Just kicked off with a 3-3.

And so it seems that our weird leader did not make it down the road tonight.

You have to be in just the right mood to face a trip down to the land of smog and sludge. And I just wasn't in that mood tonight. I tossed a coin and it fell for watching the action from Leszno tonight. But my spies tell me that Berwick already have 31 points and they haven't raced Ht 12 yet.

Not a bad showing while a defeat is still a defeat at least we seem to have put a decent enough show.

Not a bad showing while a defeat is still a defeat at least we seem to have put a decent enough show. According to bandits4eva, it could so easily have been a win. Jacek Rempala slid off while well clear of Havelock in Ht 10 and only outstanding efforts from Tresarrieu prevented the Bandits sneaking a couple of 5-1s. Apparently Truminski was the star for the cruel, crazy town. But, once again, at the business end of the meeting, a Bandits pairing found themselves 5-1ed in Ht 15. Still, it should make the return fixture interesting as far as the bonus point is concerned, since Messrs Havelock, Tresarrieu and Kerr all seem to know quick ways around Shielfield Park.
