It looks very much as if the Islanders have followed up their success in the Premier League pairs by taking the Premier League Fours at Peterborough today. And once again it looks as if that man Chris Holder did the business, swallowing his disappointment at missing out in the GP qualifier in Lonigo last evening, to lead the Islanders' charge. Congratulations to the Isle of Wight on their splendid victory.

Thoroughly deserved win. Enjoyable afternoon out in the sun and the dust made even more enjoyable by the complete lack of members of the look at me club

And they won it in some style too, especially Jason Bunyan, mind you, compared to my usual diet of speedway at Lakeside, it was like watching Longtrack!
