I've done my best to filter the bullshit from various threads on the BSF, and it seems that Nick Simmons is the Wasps' first signing.

They did Wacks as confirmed here but I haven't seen any official confirmation of Simmons.

I must admit the Atkin signing had passed me by, but regarding Simmons, I'm sure someone (reasonably reliable) said the news was either in the local paper or local radio........but I did say it "seems" he's signed.

Did it also imply he's "cheap"? If so, I think we can say it's a done deal that Simmons will be back under Tim Stone's regime at Newport again this year.

Tim Stone will be announcing Newport's 3rd signing at 9am on Wednesday (6th). I would think the name Craig Watson is what most Wasps fans will be wanting to hear Tim Stone announce on Wednesday morning .

I'm not sure about that Paulco, from what I gather on the BSF, most Wasps fans would like to hear him announce he's quitting!!!

I'm the same. I thought he did okay for Berwick and the only problem was his availability. Newport ride on a Sunday, but Truminski hasn't signed in Poland, so unless it's an individual, he should be available for the majority of the season.

Newport ride on a Sunday, but Truminski hasn't signed in Poland, so unless it's an individual, he should be available for the majority of the season. As you may recall, young Truminski missed a meeting for Berwick, coincidentally at Newport, last season, but subsequently had a major fall out with his Polish club Lublin. I'd guess that either he's not welcome in Poland, or he's given Poland up as a bad job. He'll be as available as Michal Rajkowski was last season for the Wasps. I'd say he's a better rider than Rajkowski, so he should do okay for the Wasps. And he is a great team rider.
